HELSINKI - Nokia Chairman Jorma Ollila said Nokia Windows Phone will come on the market in 2012. In addition, Ollila also claimed, Nokia still has some potential partners besides Microsoft and Google.
Late last week, Nokia announced cooperation with Microsoft to immerse its products use the Windows 7 Phone, Symbian platform as well replace them.
"These products are Windows-based phone will go on sale in the market in 2012," said Ollila, as quoted by the Straits Times on Thursday (17/02/2011), from an interview with Finnish media, YLE.
Ollila added that Microsoft is not the only partner of choice for Nokia. Nokia insists, many other companies also showed interest in cooperation with the Finnish mobile phone manufacturer.
"There's Microsoft, Google and our other options. Beyond that, we still have other enthusiasts," said Ollila.
Yes, despite holding Microsoft, Nokia reportedly has not forgotten the option to issue a partnership with Google's Android Nokia devices. In fact, both parties allegedly was exploring a deal to launch Android, 2012.
